Crews Hill and the M25 fringe
Crews Hill sits right up against the M25 at the northern tip of EN2, and it has built a reputation as something of a horticultural hub, home to Enfield Garden Centre on Cattlegate Road and Brown's Garden Village nearby. It is a stretch we treat a little differently to the rest of Enfield, because the traffic mix includes vans and trailers doing the rounds between garden centres rather than just commuter cars, and a flat tyre or a dead battery out here can leave a loaded vehicle sitting awkwardly on a narrow approach road.
If you are up near Crews Hill with a vehicle that will not move, give us a clear description of exactly where you are, since the garden centre car parks and the approach lanes off the main road are not always obvious from a postcode alone.
Trent Park and Cockfosters Road
Trent Park, the old country estate bordering EN2's south-eastern edge, is bounded by Hadley Road to the north and Cockfosters Road, the A111, to the west, and those two roads are the only public vehicle entrances.
